Mike Hatem

Mr. Hatem joined Lakeside Energy in 2008 and has over 20 years experience encompassing all facets of engineering, maintenance and operations management of power generation facilities.

In addition to plant management, Mr. Hatem’s career is marked by engineering achievements such as timely turbine rebuilds, efficiency improving control upgrades, reliable power distribution coordination, successful plant construction and commissioning, and innovative plant restructuring. Mr. Hatem joined Air Liquide in 1998, where he successfully commissioned and managed a newly constructed 300 MWeq waste gas generating station. In 2000, Mr. Hatem joined Nations Energy’s executive team as Vice President of Operations, where he managed the company’s diverse portfolio of generating facilities that utilized a wide array of generating technologies and fuels.

Mr. Hatem received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University and a M.S. in Management from Purdue University. Mr. Hatem is also a registered Professional Engineer in the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania.
