Senior Associate

Ms. Liao is responsible for financial modeling and due diligence of potential acquisitions, industry research analyses and working with portfolio company management teams. 

Prior to joining Lakeside Energy in 2008, Ms. Liao spent over 3 years as a consultant at PA Consulting Group.  PA Consulting Group has deep expertise in multiple industries, including energy, and is one of the largest independent consulting firms in the world. Ms. Liao has worked on the restructuring of power generation portfolios of over 24 GW and evaluated a total of $15 billion in M&A opportunities for various energy companies, investment banks and private equity firms. Additionally, Ms. Liao has conducted extensive research on the operations of the current energy markets throughout North America and China, primarily focusing on the economic drivers, market risks and renewable incentives. Ms. Liao is experienced with financial modeling, contract analysis and asset valuation.

Ms. Liao received a Masters in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and is a CFA charterholder.
